Does anyone have any ideas on how to create a permalink which will take the user to the previous post in a single post display? (http://www.ashadeofgrey.net)

Which you could have easily found by using the search box and typing in “next/previous post” (just like I did just now).

That’s not quite what I mean. And I did search.

I need some PHP that will generate the URL, not create the link.

Something that I can type that will just return: http://www.ashadeofgrey.net/wp/index.php?p=83

Not a hyperlink..just the URL.
