I contacted hostgator support chat to have my PHP requirements of elementor adjusted. I gave them the link above you shared but still I tried just now and the same above message pops and I can’t access the page to do any editting. I am using STOREFRONT as my theme. Kindly let me know what’s wrong ? Doesn’t storefront and elementor work a long? How come I accessed the pages 2 months ago and did all editing and when I am on the final touches. It now started to act up. I am so devastated please help day in day out I am trying to fix this yet its not working. I am having my deadline approaching to launch my site. Please help
There have been issues with Storefront in the past, but as tens of thousands of themes and plugins update on an ongoing basis, it is impossible to know if any changes at any particular moment might render a theme or plugin compatible or not compatible.
Can you verify that you tried all the suggestions on the https://docs.elementor.com/article/245-preview-could-not-be-loaded page and none of them worked?
Have you tried switching themes temporarily to see if a different theme solves the problem?
Have you tried disabling all other plugins to see if any plugins might now be conflicting?
If the host is the issue, you can always try setting this up on your localhost to see if it works on your own host, in which case it would point towards a problem with the host itself. You could use something like Local by Flywheel to set up your localhost and use instructions such as https://getflywheel.com/wordpress-support/how-to-import-a-wordpress-site-into-local/ to copy your site to your localhost for testing.
If you are using Storefront, I think that may mean that you are possibly using Elementor Pro. If that is true, you’ll need to open a support ticket at my.elementor.com. WordPress.org rules state that commercial products are not supported here.
