predefined image dimensions changed in wordpress

    hi there,

    my predefined image dimensions changed in wordpress for reasons unknown to me. this is an issue for my woocommerce variable products.

    WHEN IT WORKED:
    1. my original product img size = 630×473
    2. when resized on the ‘view single product’ page, the size = 474×356

    now the upload sizes looks as follows in the uploads folder:
    100×75
    150×150
    180×180
    300×225
    300×300
    600×474

    WHEN CHANGED SOMEHOW:
    1. products on the ‘view single product’ page sizes = 467×467
    2. it resizes the image from 400×400 to 467×467 making the image blurry and not fitting in the image block??

    file upload sizes looks as follows:
    100×75
    100×100
    150×150
    250×275
    300×225
    400×400
    500×375
    500×473

    so my questions are: why this changed and what can i do to get my images from displaying correctly again?

    I can’t tell what’s changed on your site.

    My understanding of the process is:
    – find out what size your theme displays the product images, ie 467 x 467
    – go to Admin page > WooCommerce > Settings > Products tab > Display, and set the Single Product Image dimensions to the same size
    – regenerate thumbnails:
    https://wordpress.org/plugins/regenerate-thumbnails/
    this will make new thumbnails of the required size.
