Posts within Pages

I’m using the Eighties theme and I was wondering how I can create posts/articles within pages. For example, my website is called
I would like my latest posts to be on the home page, which would feature snippets of local car events and car features. However, when I click on Events on the menu, I wanted my latest car events that I’ve covered to appear, but only in snippets. And you can keep scrolling down to see older post. You can click “read more” to get the whole post/article. So when I’m on the http://www.charmgarage.com/events I would want just a picture and a few lines where you can click more and the page would redirect you to http://www.charmgarage.com/events/another-wrong-turn-2014. I’m not sure if I’m making any sense. Someone please help me.
