Check database . If ur posts are present in database then deactivate all plugins and chack ur dashboard.
Can you help me find my database? I’m new at this…
I deactivated all plugins and still no posts on page
install this plugin phpmyadmin .
This plugin will give u an interface to access ur database…and try to check if the post are present in the table named wp_posts.
I checked the database and the posts are not in there.
Everything is there up until April 8 and then nothing is there after that–nothing that has been published as well as the posts that were pending.
i dont really understand if u have the posts…anyways
If u have the posts in your database then u should be happy.
download the kubric(default) theme and activate it .. and check if all posts appear( They should if present in databse.) .
if post are not in ur database..then i dnt know any way to recover them unless u had any backup’s.
N.B :
Always use pluging that have been verified by wordpress team. Or ask professional wordpress programmers to make 1 for u.
Thanks.
Seems awfully weird they’d just disappear. Is this common?
I have multiple people contributing posts, so they put them in as pending and then I publish them. I don’t have access to their posts unless they are on the blog, so re-creating the posts is going to be nearly impossible. This is a business issue with me because we deal in information and are trying to build a loyal base.
I don’t want this to happen again and so that’s why I’m trying to get to the bottom of it.
I will check what happens after I download and activate the default theme and let you know.
I have only verified plugins. Again, just curious why this has happened.
Again, I will re-install the theme and let you know.
They are gone. I have re-activated the theme and the posts are gone. Again, I only have WP approved plugins and I have only followed all the rules–I just updated my All in One SEO pack, my Share and Follow, my Stats plugin, and my Stats Dashboard. I have the Google Analytics and tried to activate it tonight, but was unsuccessful. It said it couldn’t do it right now. Once I did all that, the posts just disappeared.
I will try to get my contributors to re-post the posts, but I think this is just FYI for you all that something very strange happened with this.
Holy crap they have just showed up.
Are you out of suggestions? Should I just give up on this and try to get my staff to re-post?
And, while I have been writing you, quite a few more people have actually viewed one of the missing posts according to Site Stats–very strange
