    That’s not a WordPress core function so you must have a plugin that’s doing that. Check your plugin list.

    I think it may be this “WordPress Importer” plugin , but I’m not sure what to do from there

    No, that plugin only imports posts from a WordPress export file, nothing else.

    Try deactivating all plugins, then reactivate each one individually until you find the one that’s doing it.

    If it didn’t disappear with all plugins deactivated, it’s most likely a feature of the theme you’re using.
