Post Template

Is there such a thing as a post template or can it be created?

I have a client that wants to add projects to his site at regular intervals.

He would like to have all the projects set the same and was looking for a template system where he can set the information in standard order. For Example!
Project:
Project Number:
Photos:
Description:
Date:

and so on.

Cnn this be done or is there a plugin that will do this for him.
