Post Modified Date & General HTML

I recently noticed that when I modify a post I end up with two dates at the top of my posts:

Posted on February 9, 2015February 19, 2015 by HubMaster

It’s been a while since I toyed around with wordpress sites, but I’m sure I used to be able to edit HTML. When I view the page and ‘inspect element’ I can see the exact line that needs to be deleted, but have no idea how to edit it. Any advice would be appreciated as I think you’ll agree the Posted On line is a bit stupid. I downloaded FileZilla but can only see PHP files.

This issue has been fixed in the recent update.

Please update the theme and this will be fixed.

Actually I was also about to post the same thing & only noticed it after updating this theme to 1.5 here: http://azzunapedia.com/

Any way to change it for example to ‘Posted on February 9, 2015. Updated on February 19, 2015 by HubMaster’? It would be easier to understand & look better too. Thanks.

When was the update released? There are no updates appearing in WordPress. I posted last night and then modified it and have the same issue still

Same here. Not sure why for 1.6 there is still no update notification. There was for 1.5 though.

Hello Maruti,

Same problem (two dates on posts) as others have mentioned. I have Hiero v1.5 installed as well as a Hiero child theme.

Went to themes – searched for Hiero and said current version (1.5) already installed. If there is a v1.6 WP is not showing it.

If there isn’t a v1.6 the double date is still an issue.
