We are getting the message “Contextual Related Posts: Post meta migration is required to keep data in sync. Click here to run the migration.” It then says

    “Clear cache
Clear the Contextual Related Posts cache. This might take a while if you have a lot of posts.”

    “Recreate FULLTEXT index
Recreate the FULLTEXT index that Contextual Related Posts uses to get the relevant related posts. This might take a lot of time to regenerate if you have a lot of posts.”

    Well, we have >140.000 posts.

    Please advise.

    Cheers,
    Alex

    Hi @faglork

Please scroll down a bit on that page and you’ll see a section for Meta migration which will tell you how many of these need to be migrated.

As with any migration, please run this after you backup your database.

You don’t need to clear the cache etc, but always useful to do so as it is a major release. The number of posts shouldn’t be an issue as both the migration and clearing cache are down in batches.

Well, I migrated the posts. No problems.

    Cheers,

Thank you for confirming. I also realise now that I need to make those warning messages a bit clearer: they direct you to the page, but don’t do much after that.
