post lines limit

    I am wondering how to limit how many lines of a post will show on the blog page, right now the entire posts are being shown and it is making my blog page really long, how do I make it so only like the first 10 lines of a post are being shown and maybe a link at the bottom for them to see the entire post.

    In your theme’s pertinant templates, you may use the_excerpt() instead of the_content().

    Currently, your theme is probably using the_content().
