• Hi,

A few weeks ago I added a portfolio to my website. Now everytime I click on one of the images, it shows an enlarged version of that image. What I actually want is when I click on an image it automatically redirects you to the linked page. I’m working on a website where you can find several artists and on the linked pages people can find additional information about them.

So far I’ve tried a few things and although it might probably be just a simple setting switched on or off, I have no idea what to do. Who can help me out?

  • Using add media > Insert into Page will by default add a link to the larger image. To avoid this happening when adding a image to the page ensure that you click the dropdown box Link To and change Media File option to Custom URL then type in the URL you want to go to when clicking that image. Sorted, easy as pie!

I’m sorry but I’m kind of new to all this. I tried it but it doesn’t seem to work. Could you explain it step by step?

    1. Click Posts
    2. Over over the article you want to edit then click EDIT
    3. Click add media button above the article
    4. Click dropdown button link to and change to Custom URL
