I tried uploading an image that’s 616 x 862 pixels or 8.6 x 11.10 inches. However, when I preview the portfolio page where it’s added, the image is blown up. Because the image is not that big, it becomes blurry and stretched throughout the page. It takes me a few scrolls to get to the bottom of the page.

I’ve tried scaling the image down but the only thing it does is blur or pixelate the image even more because it’s already so small and yet WordPress is stretching it.

Does anyone knows how to fix this?

It sounds like you have a layout issue. If your theme is using a predefined layout for that page, it will scale all images to a certain size.

Do you have a link to the page so we can take a look?

The website has been up and running for some time now. This is the first time that I had a problem uploading an image. When I uploaded images before, I never encountered this problem.

The post containing the image is not yet published because of this problem. Is it possible to link it here? Sorry, I’m rather new.
