Hi

I thought Id just download and go to settings and see how to re-order the blog posts in my right side bar.

But for the life of me I can’t see anyway of even doing what the name of the plugin is supposed to do?

How do i simply change the order of the blog posts so the most commented posts appear higher than the non commented posts?

Hey @isolley,

Assuming you’re using the widget:
1. Go to Appearance > Widgets.
2. Find your sidebar and expand the WordPress Popular Posts widget in it to access its options.
3. Set Sort posts by to Comments.
4. Scroll down a bit and click on Save to apply changes.

Thanks Hector, I followed your advice but still my blog post with 49 comments is way down on the right sidebar still (9 Ways to Chelate – with nurse in blue image)?

Hey @isolley,

When you say “my blog post with 49 comments is way down on the right sidebar”, you mean this area?

If so, then that’s not WordPress Popular Posts’s widget. That’s a different widget. It has a CSS class called widget_ct_mission_news_post_list so try to find the widget with a similar name on your sidebar (Appearance > Widgets) and see if it has an option to sort posts by comments count. If it doesn’t, you’ll have to get in touch with the developer of the widget for further assistance.
