PMPro with Buddypress
-
Hi, I have PMPro and Buddypress installed on a website, and both work fine, fantastic plugins and thank you to all involved. I’ve had some initial issues with both, but with my limited knowledge of PHP have managed to modify the relevant files.
The problem I can’t resolve is this….
My user registration is with PMPro, and, using PMPro register helper (oh I had some fun getting that to work, lol) all free members will be required to input their address (standard for the paid option since a billing address is required)…. and all shows up perfectly when I look at the users in WP frontend (or WP dashboard, whatever it is called!!).
For information (not sure if it’s relevant) I use ‘Login with Ajax’ since the ‘Buddypress Login Widget’ had a problem where it was taking me to the normal WP login screen on error. I have other plugins installed to ensure ‘subscribers’ don’t go anywhere near the WP frontend/dashboard.
The problem is, this inputted data doesn’t sync with Buddypress… the only part of the WP-User data that shows up in Buddypress is a combination of the first and last name.
NOW, I can, by using a plugin (think it is BP Xprofile custom fields) then add this into the profile page, HOWEVER, anything I input there does not sync with the WP User data.
Can anyone point me in the right direction as to how to resolve this?
I was hoping for another nice simple plugin. If this is not possible, I’m OK with adding/modifying snippets of PHP but I need to know where to add them.
Many thanks in advance
