• I started to work with already started project on Wordress, but when I came to Dashboard there is no Plugins section.

I’ve read some topics with similar problems, but all were about that Plugins section is available only on wordpress.org (not for .com), looks like that there already is installed wordpress.org. I think that because in bottom-left side of Dashboard is text: Thank you for creating with WordPress. with hyperlink to wordpress.org

So there is anyway to install plugins? I also see notification to update version. WordPress 4.3.1 is available! Please notify the site administrator. but there is no automatic update, It should be done manually and I’m a little bit scary to lost data that already changed.

    Thank you for suggestions.

  • It sounds like your user account may not have the role of Administrator. Do you have “Users” and “Settings” in the dashboard? If not, it is very likely that you have the incorrect role. Is this a new installation? Was it installed by someone else and is it possible that this person has the administrator role? If that is not the case, we can continue to troubleshoot.

    Please notify the site administrator.

Since you are not an admin-level user, you don’t have access to the plugins pane.
