Good Day .. I absolutely love your addon ! I do have a quick question though. I am editing the editor role and want to add some capabilities from a certain plugin . The only way I have get it to show up on the Users backend is to enable “Manage Options”. When i tun this on it give the editor way more options in their backend. For instance .. It gives the settings which I do not want and the Theme dropdown … Jetpack .. Revolution Slider etc. Is there a way to extend this so that I am able to one by one choose which links in the admin panel i want the users to see? Yes I have gone through the Capabilities list ( I have 187 of them ) but I cannot see how to individually remove from the editors dash

Thank you in advance ! – Brandon

  • Hi Brandon,

You have a good understanding of the fact that each menu has capability assigned to it and unfortunately in WordPress some menus share the same capability (as example the “Manage Options”).

Fortunately with AAM 3.3 release, you can completely restrict access to any backend menu on the Admin Menu tab.

    Appreciate your interest in AAM.
