• Hi everybody,
I feel ashame to ask you for help, but I am completely lost.
This is my situation. I am helping a friend restyling her website with my little experience with wordpress. The website is
    http://www.bikexperience.it

The problem is that she is running a phpBB forum which will be the main scope of the new website so I have to find a way to integrate the forum in a page of the new wordpress theme.

Before I mess with everything, I wanted to try working in local.
I installed WP and now I am dealing with WP-united plugin.
I didn’t go very far. I inserted the path of the config.php file, but it now asks me to install the WP-United phpBB MOD. Everything I downloaded from the remote server is in a subfolder of the document root (MAMP/htdocs/mydatabase/subfolder)

Do you have any suggestion? Is it even possible to try to integrate wp and phpbb on a local server?
Any help is appreciated, especially step-by-step assistance!

    Thank you
    Silvia
