[Plugin: WP-Table Reloaded] Fatal error: Call to undefined function wp_get_current_user()

    Hi Tobias,

    I just got the plugins upgraded to the latest edition and when I click the “Plugins” in the admin setting, it throw the above error:

    Fatal error: Call to undefined function wp_get_current_user() in /homepath/plugins/wp-table-reloaded/controllers/controller-admin.php on line 1415

    Any idea on this?

    Getting the same error when trying to acces /wp-admin/update-core.php

    Fatal error: Call to undefined function wp_get_current_user() in /wp-content/plugins/wp-table-reloaded/controllers/controller-admin.php on line 1415

    I’m running version 1.9 of WP Table Reloaded and 3.0.4 of WordPress.

    When I disable the plugin, I still get this error.

    Any help you can provide is greatly appreciated, as I need to upgrade to 3.1 right now, and this is preventing me from doing so.

    Hi guys,

    thanks for the notification!

    This is a bug and I’m working on a fix, should be out soon. Sorry for the trouble.

    @regishadiaris: I don’t know however, why this should occur with the plugin disabled. That should not be possible due to the way WordPress handles plugins. Please try renaming the “wp-table-reloaded” folder to e.g “wp-table-reloaded-disabled”. That should definitely deactivate the plugin, so that you can update to WordPress 3.1. Afterwards, rename the folder back to the original name.

    thanks for the confirmation! Version 1.9.1 is the update I meant above, which includes the fix for the problem.
