[Plugin: WP SlimStat] Map display

    The stats page showing the world map does not seem to be correct. I have plenty of UK visitors (being a UK site) but none show up on the map. Other countries – USA, Russia, etc – are all showing up with traffic, but none from the UK, despite having data show in the other tables that such traffic is happening.
    Any thoughts?

    Does it say zero when you hover with your mouse?

    There is no numerical figure at all after the country name. There is with some other countries.

    Congratulations! I guess you just found the oldest bug still hiding in the source code 🙂 It looks like MaxMind (the GEOIP database generator) uses ‘GB’ as Country code for the United Kingdom, while the World Map is expecting ‘UK’. I have already added the fix to WP SlimStat 2.7, contact me if you want to get the new file

    Cool! No rush – I’ll wait for the update to roll out in due course. Glad it’s fixed though.

    Thank you for pointing this out! Since I’m working on the map to fix this bug, I’ll also do something that has been in my todo list for a while: use a better map 🙂 I’m switching to AmMap:

    which allows zooming in and it has a fresher look.
