Hello, I’ve installed your plugin and I’m trying to trouble shoot an issue I’m running into. The media library is giving me the follow error (below). This seems like an unreasonably large image. My media setting are typical. Any suggestions?

    CURRENT: 946px × 345px (0.33mpx)
    REQUIRED: 6000px × 60000px (360.00mpx)

Hello! Yeah that’s quite a large image you’ve been asked for 🙂 Well, what do you have your Settings -> WP Retina 2x -> Basics -> Disabled Sizes? Do you have only 3 sizes or more? Some theme adds special sizes.

I will update the plugin today: I want to provide a way to see WHY such large images are “required”, and to provide an alternative way.

For what it’s worth. This is the alert I am getting. Seems to want an image that is about 6x.

    ORIGINAL FILE IS TOO SMALL.
    CURRENT: 360px × 360px (0.13mpx)
    REQUIRED: 2048px × 2048px (4.19mpx)

    Thanks!

Hello Clineco. This seems very normal, one of your media sizes is probably 1024×1024, check that in your WordPress -> Settings -> Media. To support such a size with retina, you will require to upload a 2048×2048 file. If you don’t actually need this size, you can either disabled it in WordPress, or in the Retina plugin.

I think this one is resolved so I close the topic 🙂 Tell me if I am wrong.
