[Plugin: WP e-Commerce] Cannot Even Do Anything

    I just uploaded and activated the Development Version into a totally new 2.6. I can’t do anything. No new products or categories can be added because it says there is no default product category to show on the products page, and no product category can be chosen as default to show on the products page because I can’t even add any in the first place.

    I thought this plugin would be the end of my troubles.

    I suggest using the uninstall link in the description of the plugin on the plugins page, then using the 3.6.7 version.

    The Development version of the plugin works here on two brand new WordPress 2.6 installs.

    I would also suggest doing what Tom suggested. Sometimes I’ve seen this happen when files don’t upload properly… try download again perhaps and then give it another shot.

    Are you using a windows server? That can always explain a lot 😛

    yes i am now using the 3.6.7 and it’s working quite well.. thanks a lot for entertaining me!

    can i suggest that the Checkout allows for payment to any account that i specifically set for an item? because i am thinking of running a ‘marketplace’ selling other people’s products – to which the revenue goes.

    I have added three new products with thumbnails, etc.

    However, I still cannot see the products on the page I have designated for folks to buy things.

    Is there a setting I need to change?
