You can set the highlight (hover) color in the settings (either under Settings->WP Cumulus for the non-widget version, or Appearance->Widgets for the widget).
I’m using the settings to try and change the colour but it’s not working at all. The colours I specify aren’t appearing. I tried using all websafe colours but that made no difference either.
I find that in 99% of cases where color settings aren’t working the user changes them in the wrong place. Are you using the widget? And on what screen are you changing the color values?

i’m using widget version to try and change colour but it’s not having it…. i get a message saying “are you sure you want to do this?” when i click “save”……it has a link back to the widgets page after it. that’s all.
any idea’s
Are you saving the settings before leaving the page? What steps are you taking exactly?
don’t worry dude, it must have been a caching issue or something, when i tried from my machine at work it all worked fine?…
