  • Hi there,

It seems to me that it is working properly since there were two posts listed on the top area of your site when I visited it.

My plugin recently changed the way it caches all popular posts, so that might explain why it suddenly stop showing some posts on your “Poppin’ posts” section. Here’s a small brief about the update: http://wordpress.org/support/topic/352693#post-1361288 (which you can also find at the FAQ section).

Things should be getting back to normal within the next few days as your visitors come by your site.

no but towards the end of the day….after more than 5 links have been visited…it keep logging the posts in the “poppin posts” section. If you go look at my site right now…or any day after about 3 or 4pm EST..you will see what i am talking about.

    how do i fix this

    Hey DrDapo,

I just checked your site and yes it is showing more than 5 posts – 10, actually, which is the default setting. To make it show only 5, please do the following:

    1. Go to your wp-admin area
    2. Go to Appeareance > Widgets
    3. On the right column where active widgets are, find WordPress Popular Posts and click on the arrow next to it so you can see the config area
    4. Set the option “Show up to” to 5
    5. Scroll down and click on Save when you’re done

    That should do it!

i think the problem is that the plugin is configured into my blog’s template. i don’t know how to change it from my site’s file manager or from the back-end. when i go to appearance > widgets i don’t see the widget.

In that case, I’d need to see your theme’s code so I can tell you what to do my friend.

    Here are a few suggestions:

    # Post your theme’s code here so I can take a look at it (index.php code should be good enough).
    # Email me your theme (yo at soyunduro dot com) so I can modify it.
    # Create a temporary admin account for me so I can log in into your wp-admin and make changes directly on your site. You can delete it after I’m done.
