    Hey

I forgot to save my tweaked css before doing the update (yeah, dumb), still, I want to edit the CSS of the plugin but it's 'inactive' - am I missing something? I'm not an expert coder and all, but still - is it fixable? Am I doing something wrong? Thanks.

    Hi mariomb,

What do you mean with "inactive"?

When trying to edit the CSS (wordpress-popular-posts/style/wpp.css) the on top title shows:

    Editing wordpress-popular-posts/style/wpp.css (inactive)

(I tried to deactivate the plugin and then to edit it, but the same message shows up). I edited the CSS and the changes did not take any effect.

    Thanks for the help.

That's with WordPress' built-in editor, right? Never noticed that before, I'm getting the same message. However, I'm still able to edit it and save any changes I make to it.

Alternatively, you can simply download the wpp.css file from your site and edit it on your computer, and then reupload it.

Hi - yes, I am able to edit it too, and save changes, the problem is that they simply don't take effect.

There must be something else. I did make some changes (changed author's name to red color) and it worked just fine.

Do you only have one copy of the wpp.css file in your site? Can you check that the wpp.css file inserted in your theme's header is the same you're editing?

    Hi Hector

Yes, it's the same. This started to happen with the new and updated version - up until now I had no problem implementing changes.

Hey mariomb, can you please share your site's URL so I can go take a look?

I'm running into the same issue. It says inactive, and can't make changes.
