We are developing a site on a virtual server. The address of the site is not visible on DNS so you have to change hosts file as follows:
62.149.169.12 prolococellinameduna.it http://www.prolococellinameduna.it
I created a test page:
http://www.prolococellinameduna.it/test-download-manager/
The problem “file not found” seems present only on a new site. We have old sites that we updated successfully to 2.2.4
There is another new site that presents the same problem.
We are trying DOWNLOAD MONITOR plugin.

Customers are not able to download, because to the url, it adds some spaces (%20).

This is always added, no matter what my files are named.

This %20%20%20%20 is replaced by space by the browser; it means that the File Manager couldn’t recognised the name of your file.
