Compatible with eAccelerator? (4 posts)

    Since I still have render time anywhere between 1 to 8s:

    --> 1.4s http://www.webpagetest.org/result/101016_85SM/
    --> 3.5s http://www.webpagetest.org/result/101016_85SP/
    --> 8s http://www.webpagetest.org/result/101016_85T1/

    , even after fastcgi was enabled, my host suggested to install eAccelerator. It sounds good in principle (caching php compilation) but I was wondering if this would interfere with W3? Should I go for it? Any advice would be appreciated.

    p.s. to Frederick: I emailed you a couple of days ago regarding how much you would charge for optimizing my server. Can you get back to me please? Thanks.

    Yes you can use eAccelerator, but only older version support user caching.

    If I didn't email you back I either didn't receive or lost your email. I also noticed sometimes my outlook 2010 has failures. Please write again.
