Plugin Upgrades

    Sorry if this is an old/obvious question, but I am a newbie and couldn’t find the info anywhere.

    If I make any changes to the layout of a plugin (like changing message text or change the css), the changes I make go away when I upgrade the plugin. Am I updating plugin css/js incorrectly? Should I be making the changes in separate files?

    • Which plugin are you using?
    • What is the URL of your website?
    • What changes do you make to a plugin? Are you editing the code of the plugin?
