• Hello.
Great plugin, very useful. But I was wondering if there was a way to do this…

there is an option to match posts by category. But one of my categories is given to practically every single post i do, making this option useless. is there a way to hack the code a little bit so it still matches posts by category — but ignoring one particular category?

    thanks for your help!

  • if you label almost all your posts with the same category, then maybe you can try to disable the “find similar via category” option altogether.

thats not going to work unfortunately. the reason is this:
i have an events site, and label sites by type (art, music, sport etc) and also by price (cheap, expensive).

i’d love the plugin to match posts by type (ie. sport), but if i’ve labelled it as cheap, then it will also match it to cheap art, cheap theatre and everything else.

i just need a way to stop it searching the ‘cheap’ category
