Hi QbicSounds,
I’m sorry you’re running into this problem. It looks like SEO Ultimate is having trouble reading the settings array.
I’ll need to look at the contents of the “seo_ultimate” entry of your “wp_options” table in order to debug this further. If you could please use phpMyAdmin (or a similar program provided by your webhost) to access your “wp_options” table, locate the “seo_ultimate” entry, and copy/paste its contents here, that would be great.
(Or, if you’d rather not post your site’s settings on this forum, please submit them using this contact form and indicate that your message is SEO Ultimate-related.)
Thanks.
– John

@qbicsounds and @vasily22: What version of PHP are you using?
Apache/1.3.41
MySQL-client: 5.0.77
PHP: mysql
phpMyAdmin: 3.2.5
Is this what you wanted? I can send you the wp_options information on seo plugin.
Waiting for you reply.
Same problem. Should I erase SEO Ultimate via FTP?

I made a change in 2.5 that will hopefully fix the problem. Please try installing the new version and let me know if it fixes anything. Thanks.
Updated SEO. Still Fatal error on line 736. Now I’ve renamed the plugin folder for the site to work.

I released another bugfix (version 2.5.1) — please try upgrading and let me know if that fixes the second error. Thanks for your patience.
Fatal error: Cannot use string offset as an array in /nfs/cxx/hxx/mnt/xxxxx/domains/mysite.com/html/wordpress/wp-content/plugins/seo-ultimate/modules/class.su-module.php on line 679

I’ve included another possible fix in version 2.6. Please let me know if that resolves it.
Thanks for bearing with me. Since I can’t replicate the bug on my end, it’s very hard to figure out what’s causing it.
John, your new version didn’t solve ths bug…
It’s still in that fatal error.
I sent you the plugin entry in WP-OPITION. by your contact form.
I am Simon from fashion-bop.com
I had to remove the plugin temporarily to make my site working…
Fatal error: Cannot use string offset as an array in /nfs/cxx/hxx/mnt/xxxxx/domains/mysite.com/html/wordpress/wp-content/plugins/seo-ultimate/modules/class.su-module.php on line 679
Same issue here. Shut down the site completely. Had to rename the SEO Ultimate directory to get back into my admin page. Sent you a note via the contact form mentioned earlier in thread. Thanks for you help!
I’m getting a fatal error here: jlfunctions\io.php on line 11
This is on a windows server, another site on a linux server, no problem (so far).
I’m not a programer but I’m trying to figure this thing out. When the error first popped and my entire site was inaccessible by the browser I renamed the directory “seo-ultimate” by FTP so the plugin administration in WordPress would not find any files. I’ve installed ever since all the versions and still get the same error. Maybe something is wrong in the database, this is the only explanation I have. I don’t mind configuring the whole thing again, so please can you launch some kind of application to delete all the entries SEO Ultimate made before on the database? Or simply include something in versions to come to delete the entire data and make a fresh instalation. Maybe an extra step in configuration where is asked to erase data or activate the plugin.
I think this might work.
Thanks for everything.
