[Plugin: PHP Code Widget] Widget is automatically adding br tags

Everything was fine until I upgraded earlier. Now it’s injecting
<br />tags into every line break, even in embedded php and javascript.Obviously breaking embedded php. “Automatically add paragraphs” is not checked. I tried toggling it as well, all to no avail.
