Agreed – need some additional information on how to use this.
I set up 3 subdomains (host1.aclevercat.com, host2.aclevercat.com, host3.aclevercat.com) in my Cpanel, plugged them into the plugin settings, updated, then clicked Update Posts.
When I refreshed my site – half the images were gone. I Restored Posts and they came back, thankfully (that part works great).
Please let us know how to correctly configure this.

To be honest, I gave up on this plugin, switched over to W3 Total cache, which offers a slightly different version of the same solution. As far as I understand, parallelizing isn’t supposed to bring that many advantages anymore, so I went with W3 Total cache and used a manual CDN.
I’ll quickly explain: I set up a subdomain, i.e. static.mydomain.com and the plugin offloads all static content you define there to speed up thigns as that particular vhost is set up without any php/scripting capabilities so it doesn’t process but simply serves content.
I hope I could help you out here…
Interesting Ovidiu, thanks for the tip. I’m going to look into a CDN. Which one do you use?

I don’t use a CDN yet, Please have a look at the FAQ of W3 Total Cache. There are some suggestions for CDN.
I use a “fake” CDN, just serve my static content from another subdomain…
Hi Ovidiu,
I am trying to configure W3 Total cache. I don’t have a CDN. I use a subdomain.
I am trying to do this just like you but I can’t seem to configure my subdomain correctly in CDN Settings. I have wordpress installed in a subdomain.
I created another subdomain – subdomainStatic – for my static content.
I put my FTP hostname, user and password.
Then in FTP path I have: /home/mydomain/public_html/subdomainStatic (it is the folder in my server)
Finally in “Replace site’s hostname with:” I have: subdomainStatic.mydomain.com
But this doesn’t work.
Am I doing something wrong??
Can anyone help me please.

sounds right to me, but what exactly “doesn’t work”?
Have you enabled debugging?
