I run the paid/Advanced version on several sites and I am having the same issue. Hope there’s an update soon.

Hello,
The plugin is compatible with the latest WordPress 5,6, so the problem must be caused by something else.. Ensure you cleared the site and the browser cache then try again.
Thanks
This worked for me. My issue was that I could no longer move cpt’s around. Not sure this will fix the larger issue above.
In the custom post type function change:
‘hierarchical’ => true
to
‘hierarchical’ => false

In 5.6 for me: post drag-and-drop works, the plugin page loads fine, but page drag-and-drop does not work. Not sure if it ever did with this plugin, but users on our site remember being able to drag-and-drop there. The “Simple page ordering” plugin (https://wordpress.org/plugins/simple-page-ordering/) does seem to make that work, though.

Hi,
Actually, the plugin was never been able to sort hierarchical custom post types ( like pages ) this is supported through the advanced version.
Thanks
It now works for me – my problem was that I had too many posts trying to load. Did not realize that the first bar toggles to allow for options, including pagination. After letting the page load (I had to do other work and came back three hours later), it had loaded all my posts and finally allowed me to toggle the options.
Off to fix my other sites! Thanks to customer support for helping me with this.
I am facing exactly the same problem as you are.
When I made my website update to wordpress 5.6 , it no possible to display the post sorting page of PTO (Post Type Order). it gets stuck and is completely inoperable.
My website has over 4,000 posts, and I’m pretty sure that’s what’s causing this problem.
becaunse, my sub-website with only 20 posts does not have any problem with WordPress 5.6 + PTO.
but the other hand, when PTO with the wordpress 5.5.3 is nothing problem, even over 4,000 posts.
(I’ve already set the “memory_limit” in my site’s “php.ini” to 1024MB.)
Additionally, I uninstalled all other plugins, but didn’t help. I think this should definitely a problem caused by PTO.
