Hi,
sorry, yesterday I had some SVN problems.
You can try to reinstall 2.0.0,
But also 1.8.0 is a very good version. If you want, you can roll back. (Klick on older versions on the right) http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/nextgen-scrollgallery/download/
Thanks for the great plugin, Benedikt.
Unfortunately I just try an automatic install of version 2.0 and I had the same problem as yesterday.
I’m having similar problems. I updated today too so it shouldnt be the problem that i installed the bad version.
I’m getting the same deal where clicking on the image wont switch images. And the thumbnails are all screwed up too and when one is clicked it wont switch the main image.
Ok… bad..
Could you please post me a link to your broken pages?
Is the wp_footer() function in your theme?
Hi Beneidkt,
I rolled back to 1.8 so I cant so unfortunately i can’t show you an example of a broken page. this is a link with a scroll gallery
http://www.nabi.cat/escola/bases-psicopedagogiques/
I’m not sure how to know if my theme has the wp_footer function.
I’m using Pagelines Platform Pro as a theme.
Thanks
hm, do you change the php file? Why are there to div’s with the id=”_30″ ?
id’s have to ba unique.
ah… I know why. You have no imagearea and thumbarea defined in the admin interface
i didn’t change the php file. i do mess with the CSS code to make the gallery the size i want.
So where do i fixx the imagearea and thumbarea? (and what do i fix? haha)
Go to the scrollGallery admin interface at yourpage.com/wp-admin/ and write something in the fields thumbarea and image area, save the options.
I think these fields are empty at your page.
still the same problem. Is there a way i can turn off the main images sliding option. the last version of scroll gallery had it so that only the thumbs would scroll and you would click and the image would change. now it seems that you click the thumbnails and it switches only the thumbnails rotation. but the images dont move and the only way to change images is if you scroll it like a continuous photo roll
nevermind, got it to work
thanks!
If you use version 2.0.0 check that the fields “imagearea” and “thumbarea” are not empty!
