[Plugin: NextGEN Gallery] Thumbnail Problem

    Hi everybody,

    I hope, someone can help me…

    I just installed the Nextgen Gallery, but when I upload pictures to Galleries, thumbnails don’t show up, neither @ “Manage Galleries” in the WP backend nor on the Blog (if you click, the big pictures do show up). My Webspace is big enough!
    I uploaded all pics already organized in Galleries (max. 36 pics per folder) via FTP and I’m using the “Add Gallery” –> “Import Image Folder” functionality to integrate into nextgen.

    Sometimes, thumbnails don’t get generated due to lack of memory. See if the steps in this thread help.

    Thanks, I tried but it says:

    ID 99: A failure occurred

    Anything else I can try?

    Sounds like image 99 is not valid. Perhaps it got corrupted in the upload. Try deleteing it and then re-create the thumbnails. If that works, try uploading 99 again.

    Thanks, but it didn’t work 🙁

    It says the same thing about all pics/IDs.
    If you click on more it says:

    “Error 500 – Internal server error

    Ein interner Fehler ist aufgetreten!
    Bitte versuchen Sie es zu einem späteren Zeitpunkt.”

    which means “internal error, try again later”…

    It only worked with 2 out of about 20 galleries I tried (thumbs either worked for the all pics in the gallery or none)…

    P.S. re-creating thumbs with pics that already had working thumbs didn’t work either, same error message (but the original thumbs are still there…)

    I’m sorry that didn’t work. It may be aproblem with your host service. My German is very rusty, but: Dann kann ich nicht mehr helfen.
