Update to above.
Slideshow works in “preview” but once published it does not show
I am stumped
Cheers

I’m having a similar problem. I’ve been using the slideshow for 6 months without an issue. Now when I create a new page or post with the same slideshow, I can see the show when I preview the draft, but when I preview a published page or post, the slideshow just doesn’t show up. Fortunately, the original slideshow on my home page is still functioning.
I fiddled around with another slideshow plug-in, but would really prefer to stick with NextGen.

Seems that I fixed it.
I copied a new copy of the imagerotator.swf file into the NextGen directory and all is working..

I am having a similar problem, but I think my issue is a bit different than what you all are referring too. My gallery doesn’t show up either, but I notice that all of my plug-ins don’t show up.
My plug-in path from my subdomain to root domain transfer is broken. How can I fix this? It’s effecting my uploads too.
I’m in a bit of a crisis and don’t know where else to look. I’ve been troubleshooting this for days. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated, thanks.

I was able to fix it, too. I deactivated and deleted the plugin and downloaded the latest version. The install alerted me that I needed to set up a path to the imagerotator.swf file. A relative path didn’t work, but a hardcoded path did work. The file is located in wp-content/uploads/imagerotator, not in the nextgen plugin directory. I assume that my original problem was caused by an incorrect path.
KTW2, thanks for your comment, your suggestion worked great!
