[Plugin: NextGEN Gallery] Nextgen breaking my theme

    Hi, I’m having a serious issue with Nextgen Gallery.
    When I put a nextgen gallery album into a page it resets/clears a bunch of records in the database, mainly ones related to my theme.

    I’m using the RSW Theme. I set options for it including logo image, theme style, etc. These are all stored in the wp_options table in columns with the prefix “mtheme_”.

    As soon as I insert a nextgen gallery album into a page these theme options are blank in the database.

    Versions
    Wordppress: 3.4.1
    Nextgen: 1.9.3
    RSW Theme: 1.6.1

    I’d really like to use Nextgen as it looks great. But this is making it very difficult to do so.

    Has anyone experienced any issues like this?

    I just tried it again and it seems that the database records were cleared when I created a new gallery and added it to an existing album.

    Hi tpfraz,

    This can happen depending on the theme.
    You might need to change some files in the theme to get this to work as NextGen Gallery sometime has conflict with the theme.

    if you are using a theme that is responsive.. please take a look on your footer if it is set to min-height: 100%; if so, remove it from your template file.
