[Plugin: NextGEN Gallery] imagerotator

I have installed the gallery and the swf files and the jsimagerotator plug in. Nothing works.
I can’t even find instructions on how to add a gallery to a post. I’m going crazy.
The plugin keeps telling me the path for the imagerotator.swf has not been defined but where do I define it. I have put it in the upload as a folder and tried as files. Still nothing.
Can somebody help me?
