[Plugin: NextGen Gallery] Getting images from another server

    Hi Alex!

    Is there a solution to get images from another site shown as NextGen gallery in posts? Because my php memory is reaching the limit, even though I changed the resolution of all the pictures. My friend has a server without these annoying limits and I want to upload the pictures onto his server, then create a new album, get the pictures, and embed it into a post.

    Is it possible?

    mediatemple.net. They are the only host one should use. Not sure about the other idea you have.

    Thanks, macwise, but that doesn’t help me. I don’t want to change my host. I just want to know how do I add the pictures I uploaded to an image sharing website to any of my galleries?

    Can you just display them using a simple img tag? I know you won’t be able to use the built in gallery, but would that work?

    Yes, I can insert them with img tags, but not as an album.

    Alex, if I can’t insert pictures from another server, can I add the CSS styling to the pictures I inserted with simple img tags?

    Sorry for the late response…

    No images from a other server can not be integrated.
