When I try to upload images to a gallery I get this error message:

Fatal error: Out of memory (allocated 56098816) (tried to allocate 2550 bytes) in /home/jackuul/public_html/05thelastbraincell/wp-content/plugins/nextgen-gallery/lib/thumbnail.inc.php on line 183

Anybody have any answers/solutions? Thanks.

Hey Bluto,

You can try deleting the plugin and then uploading it again. I just installed NextGen for the first time last week and ran into some similar problems. I just reinstalled it and it worked fine.

If I do, do that will all the galleries I’ve uploaded be deleted as well?

No the galleries are normally stored in a different folder

Ok, thanks for the help. I did absolutely nothing to the plugin, and, as far as I know, my friend who handles IT didn’t do anything either, but the plugin works perfectly now. Odd.

I’m having this problem and reinstalling the plugin did not fix it.
