[Plugin: NextGEN Gallery] Disappearing menu

    Hello:
    I updated the plug-in from 1.8.1 to 1.8.2 and now the nextGEN gallery menu in the bar on the left of the dashboard (under tools, settings etc) does not show anymore, thus I cannot add nor change any of my galleries.
    I am running the Village theme but it shows no conflicts when tested.

    I did de-activate and re-ativate the plug-in with no result.
    Please advise.
