[Plugin: NextGen Gallery] Alt Description Under Widget Thumbnail

Hey is there anyone that can help figure out how to put alt description or text underneath my thumbnail in my widgets. i tried looking through this forum for any hacks and one seemed to work for previous versions, but I havent gotten it to work yet. I tried going to gallery.php and adding the things to fix but it didnt work.
