[Plugin: Multipost MU] Adding Custom Fields

    I am excited for the addition of adding custom fields. I plan to make an echo statement of the source URL as a canonical in the HEAD of the theme of other blogs.

    So when custom fields are duplicated, one custom field will have the source URL, and will show up with a canonical tag in the theme, showcasing legitimate duplicates for search engines.

    When do you think the custom fields addition will pass?

    It’s unknown when I’ll get time to work on this I’m afraid. Too much else on the plate right now.

    If anyone wants to pick up the lead on the plugin, I’m happy to give them check-in access.

    I will concede on this, since it isn’t something that will be useful for others who will be using it differently from me. The custom field moving is the only thing that looks to make this plugin beautiful.

    If you don’t plan to do it, its all good. I can try to tackle what you have. I will send you something if I get the time.

    Maybe you should have a premium version to make some money off of this. Would willingly pay. Going to make a donation now:)

    I’m very interested in this functionality as well. Also, copying the excerpt and image gallery is desired as well. If you have any updates for this, please let me know.
