[Plugin: MailChimp List Subscribe Form] Plugin Stopped Working

    Someone let us know they tried to signup for our newsletter, but the widget wouldn’t work. I’ve been taking a look at it, and something seems wrong with it.
    It says it wasn’t hooked into a list, which it had been. When I logged out of the account and tried to reenter the API code this is what I get:

    Uh-oh, we were unable to verify your API Key. Please check them and try again!
    The server said:Could not connect (ERR 110: Connection timed out)

    Any ideas?

    Hey there!

    Would you mind sending us an email at emailtesting[at]mailchimp.com with the username attached to the account? It sounds like the API key can’t be verified because the calls aren’t being received on the MailChimp side of things.

    We’ll be more than happy to give it a shot, but it sounds like it might be host-related, unfortunately.

    Give us a shout and make sure to post here as well, so we have an idea of when to be on the lookout for the email. 🙂
