[Plugin: Magic Fields] creating write panels does not work

Hi!

I’m running a WP 3.2.1 Multisite and in one blog have the need for the magic fields plugin.

I activate the plugin and wanted to create a new Write Panel but it’s not saved. After I click “Finish” I come to a screen “Magic Fields > Manage” with the text “Choose a Write Panel” and an empty option box?

I even deactivated all other plugins and tried again: same result.
internet explorer and firefox, same same.

the _mf_ tables are created only once to the corresponding blog so I think the options should be saved into those tables, but there’s nothing.

even exporting from a different blog and importing into this one did not make any write panels appear.

i followed the instructions on http://wiki.magicfields.org/doku.php?id=getting_started but as said, i’m stuck at where it says “Once the Write panel is created”! 🙁

what did I miss?
