Has anyone else had this issue? For the past week or so I have had to reinstall the wordpress plugin. After it tells me that it needs to be updated, it doesn’t uninstall right away so I never catch it until I get onto my site and I’m being told to install the plugin in order to use my top bar plugin. Is this no longer compatible with the latest wordpress version?

    Hi there,

That’s very weird and definitely not expected behaviour, the plugin is fully tested with the latest WP version and should be compatible.

Can you go into detail on what happens? Does an update notification appear? If so, for what version? Any details that could help us pinpoint the issue would be very helpful! 🙂

It says the new version of Mailchimp Lite available. View version 2.3.3 beta detail or update now.

The version I have installed is 2.3.2 but I have updated to the version noted on top several times now. Should I delete it and reinstall?

I have deleted and reinstalled this plugin twice now and it still keeps happening. It says that the beta version is unknown to be compatible with the latest version of wordpress

    Hey @creation Odyssey,
That really is a strange error. Can you let me know where your website is hosted (the company name/website) and in case you are using some managed WordPress hosting, would it be possible for you to check with your host if they have scripts that are uninstalling the plugin.

    Hello @harish Chouhan

My host is bluehost via WordPress.org, I can ask them but the customer service has really failed as of lately and I doubt they will be any help unfortunately.

    Hello,

BlueHost might not be the one deleting the plugin. Would it be possible for you to share temporary login access to your WordPress website.

You can send the same through our form at https://mc4wp.com/contact/. Simply add link to this support ticket in your email and login details and someone from our team will take a look.

    Hello,

I sent my information through your system and marked it as other….

I’ve also had the same exact problem. I noticed it this morning and have since had to update mail chimp several times. I get the message that it was updated successfully, but then a few minutes later (if I go to a different page within WP) it shows that there’s a new update. Like on your end, it’s not registering that I’ve successfully updated to the latest version.

    I use Bluehost as well.

    Hello Mariana,

I looked into the issue. It seems to be some issue with the host or some other plugin. What’s happening is that the plugin is showing updates from our GItHub.com development repository instead of WordPress.org.

You can ignore the update. Only update when there is no beta at the end and just a number such as 2.3.3, etc.
