I get the following message when I try to install the All-In-One SEO Pack:

    Could not copy file /public_html/wp-content/upgrade/all-in-one-seo-pack.tmp/all-in-one-seo-pack/all_in_one_seo_pack-pt_BR.mo

I set my temp file to 777 based on another post I saw to make it writable and it still doesn’t install. Please help.

    1. Try to change the permissions to 755 (sometimes 777 doesn’t work). See if it works then.

    2. Perhaps the following link will help you: http://jehy.ru/articles/2009/12/29/wordpress-ftp-update-trouble/

    3. Are you trying to install the plugin for the first time or are you upgrading the plugin? If alternative one is right – that you want to install the plugin, upload the extracted file (should be in .zip) to “/public_html/wp-content/plugins.

I think and hope that will work – but I’m not an expert on this…
