Hi RavanH,
This error is because the plugin could not store information into the database using the update_option() API call of wordrpess. I am not sure why the database update failed. Can you deactivate and reactivate the plugin and try again?

Hi, thanks for your support 🙂
I did not get the DB read only error anymore even without de/reactivating. I guess it was a problem on the server. I did however run into another Fatal Error during the last backup:
[07-Jul-2010 00:01:09] PHP Fatal error: Call to a member function insert() on a non-object in /hermes/bosweb/web109/b1091/ipg.aufildudouxcom/4visions.nl/wp-content/plugins/idrive-for-wordpress/idrive.php on line 555
RavanH,
The Fatal error issue has been fixed. Please let us know if you are still facing the issue.

Yep, no more errors 🙂
Excellent! Good work. Good plugin.
( any chance of even improving it by excluding the /cache/ folder? )
Ai, and just after I hit “Post” I notice a new error entry similar to the first error in the original post:
[20-Jul-2010 19:18:49] IDW Fatal Error at 687 : Could not update database. Please check if your database is read only. Exiting. but I guess that is a temporary thing again…
RavanH,
We will consider excluding certain folders for the next version of the plugin.

Got this error while trying to activate the plugin:
Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_STATIC, expecting T_OLD_FUNCTION or T_FUNCTION or T_VAR or ‘}’ in /homepages/36/d238881155/htdocs/WWW/wp-content/plugins/idrive-for-wordpress/idrive.php on line 21
Any ideas on what might be causing it?
keithcsmith,
Please check the php version on your site.
