[Plugin: Google XML Sitemaps] Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_STRING

I’m getting this error using google xml sitemaps. My main site sitemap.xml file works fine though so I’m not sure what to change – something in .htacess?

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_STRING in /home/ihsrea5/public_html/real-estate-blog/sitemap.xml on line 1
