[Plugin: Google XML Sitemaps] Before using Google XML Sitemap plugin…

    I read and searched but could not find the answer to the following simple questions. I have blogs.

    1. Does the Sitemap plugin make a sitemap page on my blog for all surfers to see? Or does the plugin just make a sitemap file(s) (in my WP files) that are not visible to visitors on my blog, but nonetheless completely satisfies Google that I have a sitemap for my blog (a sitemap visible to surfers on the blog is not necessary)?

    2. I update daily with about 5 posts. Is this too much for this Sitemap plugin to handle?

    Hi,

    1. The plugin creates a XML file primarily for Google, but includes a stylesheet which makes it more readable. However, the file is not really intended to be viewed by your visitors, there are better plugins for that.

    2. No problem. The only limitation is that it can only create one sitemap file at the moment, which cannot hold more than 50.000 urls.

    Hi Arnee,

    I have downloaded your sitemap gen succesfully but I can´t get the stylesheet as you have shown on a picture… I looks just like coding on the page, what am I doing wrong?
