[Plugin: Google XML Sitemap] XML sitemap error

Hello,

I’m experiencing some issues with the sitemap in my website. When I tried to submit my sitemap to search console, it said that my sitemap was in the wrong format (html). I have tried to use other sitemap plugin to generate a new sitemap, yet it didn’t change the way google see my sitemap. I have also tried to read several old posts regarding this matter where people said that the problem is in the cache related plugin (ex: W3,etc), however that doesn’t seem to be the problem in my case because I didn’t install any cache related plugin. Any advice?
